I'm Shannon. I grew up in Massachusetts and now live in southeastern Pennsylvania with two dogs, a flock of chickens and more domain names than any one person needs.

I have a habit of turning stray ideas into projects. There's usually another one underway.

Zelda is the black curly one. Zen is the black-and-white shaggy one. Between them, they supervise everything I do, mostly from the couch.

The chickens run the backyard and pay rent in eggs, when they feel like it.

I'm an enthusiastic amateur genealogist. A lot of my evenings go to following a trail through old records to find out who everyone was and how they ended up where they did.

I'm also building my own family tree software, because apparently the existing ones weren't enough of a project.

In 2017 I helped start Indivisible Chester County, and I've been its volunteer Communications & Social Media Director ever since. That means the website, the social media, digital organizing and a lot of volunteer coordination.

The rest of the time I'm reading a mystery or a science-fiction novel, drawing, or planning the next trip.
